Trials of Chul is a black comedy-thriller based on a true story: Young North Korean football player Chul comes to play football in Eastern European club, where crime, politics, sleazy business and gold-diggers run the game.

 

Chul is escorted by strict and conservative NK Secret

service agent Kim, who poses as his manager, but this

exciting journey will change them both forever.
